Kathryn M. (Varley) Griffith, of Needham died on Monday Aug. 11, 2008 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham. She was 61.
Born in Boston, she graduated from Needham High in 1965 and Westfield State College in 1969. A resident of Needham for over 23 years she had worked as a sales representative for the H.C. Starck Co. of Newton.
Beloved wife of Richard J. Griffith, she was the mother of Richard E. Griffith of Mason NH, Timothy J. Griffith of Needham, Jennifer Suttill of Medway and Peter J. Griffith of Norwood; Sister of Barbara Varley of Needham, Eugene Varley of Holliston, James Varley of OH and Mary Douglas of CA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Her funeral will be from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave NEEDHAM on Sat Aug 16 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home Fri 4-8 PM. Interment will follow at Mt. Benedict Cemetery West Roxbury.
