In Memory

Caleb Rawstron

We are so sorry to report that we have lost another classmate.  Caleb Rawstron was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer shortly after Christmas.  He went downhill very quickly and died on February 7th.  He will be missed by many.

I lost my wife to liver cancer in 2016.  Caleb was a good friend at NHS.  Condolences to his family and RIP to Caleb.

Caleb and I lived five houses apart on Warren Street in Needham.  We met when we were five and walked to school together - Stephen Palmer, Pollard and Needham High.  We were acolytes at the Episcopal Church and in youth group together.  We were also in Boy Scouts and in band together.  His parents were like a second set of parents to me.  We were best friends!  Even after Caleb moved to California after our Sophomore year in High School, we remained life long friends.  After he moved back to Massachusetts, we got to see each other and our families more often until COVID arrived.  We always got our families together on the third of July in Needham for the fireworks.  I will stay close to his family but I will miss him like the brother that he was to me.
