Bonnie Ann Montgomery, a lifelong Needham resident, passed away at home on Thursday, August 29th. She was the administrative assistant and voice of the Needham Fire Administration for over twenty years, where she enjoyed greeting and assisting the public. Prior to that she worked at several Needham institutions, including the William Carter Company, the William Gorse Company, Calvert’s clothing store, and the Needham Times. In retirement, she enjoyed babysitting and caring for children, especially her granddaughter, and participating in many activities at the Needham Senior Center.
Bonnie leaves her son Brian Trabish and daughter-in-law Adrienne Vaughan and their daughter Madeleine Trabish-Vaughan of West Roxbury. Bonnie is also survived by her sister Cindy Scott and her husband Paul of Uxbridge MA, as well as niece and nephews Kim Lannigan and her husband Erik, Chris Scott and his wife Kasey, and Steven Scott and his wife Julie and many beloved extended family members.
Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday, September 5th from 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning at 11 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be in Needham Cemetery.
